I didnt know what to expect walking in. I order the beef onigiri and then the chicken teriyaki- I came home after an hr of running errands and the food was still warm….and it was amazing. I actually called them to thank them for making really good food. Would I buy again? Absolutely- I prefer the beef over the chicken - the flavor was out of this world for the beef. The salted seaweed heightened the flavor for both. Amazingly priced as well.

Just tried this place like two weeks ago, and it’s definitely going to be a staple for me going forward! They have both onigiri and hand rolls. They are about 2x what they cost in Japan, but probably have at least 2x the filling of the ones there! They’re deceptively large! They are mostly around or under $4 each. For the US, these are an incredible deal. If you get the onigiri to-go, the rice is still hot and the seaweed is served on the side so it’s still crispy when you assemble it. The hand rolls are premade in the fridge and come with a dipping sauce (I like the spicy mayo), and the seaweed is protected in plastic so it is also crispy until you’re ready to eat it. I have only tried a few things from there so far, but my favorite thing is actually the spicy tuna hand roll. A pleasantly smooth texture with a bit of crunch from a cucumber slice. Since the onigiri are so massive, they kind of fall apart in your hands while you’re eating them, so I’d recommend eating over a bowl or plate. If you want something to eat in a park, I’d stick to the hand rolls. I liked the teriyaki salmon and unagi onigiri. I found the chicken curry a little disappointing because there wasn’t much sauce

Found this spot on Instagram almost 10 years ago, and I’m so glad they survived COVID., so many places didn’t. I recently moved back to LA and was happy to see they’re still open. The food is just as good as I remember. The salmon rice ball is my go-to, and the mushroom rice ball is also really good. perfect for on-the-go. Seating inside is limited and the restroom is no longer open to the public. There’s a parking structure in the back with plenty of spots and it’s pretty cheap. Service is super fast. I was in and out in about 10minutes, my parking didn’t even get charged.

My favorite thing about LA is discovering small hole in the wall places that somehow keep attracting new faces. And this is one of those places where you can visit and experience authentic rice balls, a various different flavors. As someone that has been able to witness the growth of this Restaurant. I can only declare that it has been consistent and honest prices are reasonable. You’re not gonna find a miso soup for over four dollars over here and everything is genuinely reasonable. I think the only thing missing is non-fizzy drinks but that’s just a personal touch all in all I adore this place and appreciate how consistent honest and simple everything on their menu is and how complex and flavorful everything on their menu tastes

One of the few places in Los Angeles where you can get a good meal for less than $10. Their rice balls are delicious and hot - made to order. I love the pork and the eel. I love the way they package them to go, seaweed on the side so as not to get soggy. Their rolls are good too. A great quick spot to pickup lunch or a snack.
